Mainstay Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company who are looking to recruit an Asset & Lifecycle Manager to effectively deliver asset management objectives and contractual requirements. As an Asset and Lifecycle Manager, you will be taking responsibility for managing and continuously improving the asset management system and building and delivering the asset management framework and associated procedures.

Duties:

  • As the Asset & Lifecycle Manager you will oversee the asset management system, and build and deliver all asset management framework processes and procedures including the asset management contract manual.
  • You will develop and implement resilient processes procedures and documents to simplify the workflow and ensure these processes are recorded and followed.
  • As the Asset & Lifecycle Manager you will implement a programme of assessment and maintenance of site utilities which will require the collation of reports by specialists to help develop budgets for future repairs or replacement of assets.
  • You will complete reviews of the asset database for each site assessing the assets critically and taking input from the client, customer, and operational teams.
  • The Asset & Lifecycle Manager will provide support and guidance to the operational teams to ensure compliance with contract requirements.
  • You will use the CAFM system to utilise asset management information to generate reports and inform capital spend budgets, taking the form of updating forward maintenance registers, site surveys, and desktop reviews.

Candidate:

  • Relevant qualifications within asset management e.g. certificate of diploma in Asset Management (IAM).
  • Experience as an Asset Manager within the FM industry with a solid understanding of processes, benefits, and ways in which asset management can help bring change.
  • Effective communicator which allows you to build effective and supportive relationships.
  • Happy to cover national travel.
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of statutory by-laws and other legislative requirements
