Here at Mainstay Recruitment, we are currently working with a growing family-run business that is looking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Manager to lead and manage their electrical team.

The right candidate will have extensive knowledge of electrical installation and servicing industry, project management, and team leadership. 


  • As the Electrical Manager, you will oversee a team of 2x Supervisors, 6x Engineers, and 2x Admins providing great leadership, inspiration, and mentoring.
  • You will ensure that the electrical team is meeting KPIs/SLAs set out by the contract are working within health and safety standards and is compliant at all times.
  • You will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
  • As the Electrical Manager, you will have the responsibility of implementing and enforcing quality control measures to ensure the highest standards in electrical installations and maintenance by reviewing regular audits and inspections to uphold quality assurance.
  • You will develop and manage budgets for electrical projects/contracts, monitor costs, and identify cost-saving opportunities, as well as provide financial oversight to ensure the department operates within allocated resources.
  • As the Electrical Manager, you will have responsibility for building long-lasting relationships with clients by understanding their electrical needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • As the Electrical Manager, you will keep up to date with emerging technologies and training ensuring staff are trained and developed to improve their technical skills.


  • The relevant candidate will hold electrical qualifications e.g., NVQ level 3 in electrical installations, 18th Edition, City & Guilds 2391 Test and Inspect.
  • The relevant candidate will have experience in managing internal engineers providing great leadership and training.
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical installations and servicing.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and regulations.
