As an Infrastructure Engineer, your responsibilities will include…

  • Leading the team in one or more technologies, mentoring and creating knowledge resources.
  • Supporting and troubleshooting technologies across the stack, serving as a point of escalation.
  • Participating in transitioning new products, improving team efficiency, and engaging in project work.
  • Representing the wider team in customer-facing calls and Change boards.
  • Ensuring fault resolution within SLAs, recording actions accurately, and reviewing customer reports.
  • Contributing to capacity guidelines and monitoring, providing proactive forecasting, and deploying changes.
  • Developing technical procedures for the entire team and being available for standby and out-of-hours services.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Proficiency in Windows Server Management.
  • Extensive expertise in Active Directory.
  • Design and implementation of robust cross-data centre Microsoft solutions, including AD, SQL, and Exchange.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Cloud solutions.
  • Experience with MECM / SCCM.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
