Value Engineering Project Manager – Nottingham
Salary: £55,000 + Car Allowance
Mainstay Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Value Engineering (VE) Project Manager to join a dynamic team in Nottingham. If you have a passion for overseeing multiple projects, managing budgets, and ensuring delivery on time and within scope, this opportunity is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans and manage progress to ensure timely delivery.
  • Scope Management: Define objectives and deliverables, managing changes to keep projects aligned.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources efficiently to achieve project goals.
  • Financial Management: Monitor budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial viability.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring smooth communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks to ensure project success.
  • Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures for high-standard deliverables.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.


Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in project management (construction/engineering preferred).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of RIBA stages.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in value engineering or cost-saving initiatives.
  • Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software.
