Job Description:

Mainstay Recruitment are seeking a Scoping Project Manager to lead the full lifecycle of Billable Works projects—from initial scope and design to delivery and handover. You’ll ensure high-quality, on-time, and within-budget project delivery across a range of construction works, including refurbs, refits, new builds, demolitions, and maintenance.

Key responsibilities include managing Health & Safety compliance, reviewing risk assessments, updating project documentation, and tracking progress through Maximo. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to prioritise work, manage risk, and support sustainability goals

What you’ll need to have to succeed in this role:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in the Construction sector

• HNC/D qualification (or equivalent experience) in Building, Civil Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering

• Strong ability to plan, direct, and control project activities

• Skilled in setting priorities, stakeholder communication, and commercial decision-making

• A proactive problem solver with strong performance management capabilities

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC)
