We are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Fuel Tanker Driver to work out of our clients depot based in Birkenhead.

Duties consist of nationwide fuel delivieries to various fuel terminals throughout the UK. The ideal candidate will be able to tramp out for the week, but a minimum of 2 nights out will be required for this position due to the long distance nature of the vehicles.

All vehicles are modern and well-maintained. Comprehensive training and support from the transport department is available when required. Drivers with a minimum of 12 months’ experience are preferred but not essential. Safe and secure car parking is available overnight. The earning potential for this role is particularly high, with long hours and nights out available, you could earn up to £1,300 per week for a 5 day week and north of £1,500 for a 6 day week.

Pay Rates for PAYE

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.

• Monday-Friday: £19.50 per hour
• Saturday: £21.50 per hour
• Night out: £25

Pay Rates for Limited Company

All rates are inclusive of holiday pay.

• Monday-Friday: £20.50 per hour
• Saturday: £21.50 per hour
• Night out: £25

Shift Pattern

Each successful candidate will be placed on a Monday to Friday shift with the option to pick up additional weekend shifts.
