Job Title: Delivery Manager – Accommodation Services
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Location: RAF Northolt, with travel up to 3x per week to other regional sites
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per year (dependent on experience)
Mainstay are recruiting for an exciting opportunity for an energetic and forward-thinking Delivery Manager to support the operational delivery of accommodation services within a large and diverse housing portfolio.
This role offers the chance to take ownership of day-to-day service delivery, ensuring high standards of performance, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently achieved. You will play a key role in a major long-term contract delivering repairs, maintenance, void preparation and project work to more than 27,000 homes across the South of England.
You’ll contribute to maintaining high-quality living environments for Defence personnel and their families, ensuring homes remain safe, functional and well maintained.
About the Role
As Delivery Manager, you will lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team along with specialist contractors to deliver high-quality repairs, maintenance and servicing across the portfolio.
You will be responsible for managing operational performance and budget targets, ensuring value for money while maintaining a strong focus on safety and compliance. Monitoring and achieving area-related KPIs on a monthly basis will be a key part of the role.
The position includes oversight of the end-to-end repairs service, including out-of-hours coverage and complex case management. Using data and performance insight, you will monitor service delivery, identify trends and implement improvements that enhance operational performance and customer satisfaction.
Creating a positive, high-performing culture will be central to your success. You will coach and support your team to achieve their full potential while working collaboratively with stakeholders to deliver contractual commitments and continuously improve the customer experience.
You will also take ownership of profit and loss performance, ensuring financial and operational efficiency. The role includes training and appointment as the Responsible Person for Legionella and asbestos management.
What We’re Looking For
You will have a proven track record of managing repairs and maintenance services, ideally within a property, housing or facilities management environment.
The successful candidate will bring:
• Strong leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams and contractor networks
• A solid understanding of health & safety, compliance and quality assurance
• Experience managing budgets and reporting on operational performance
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Confidence working with data and performance metrics
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Relevant professional qualifications such as CIOB or RICS, or equivalent industry experience, are required. A health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH, IOSH or SMSTS would be advantageous, as would prior experience acting as a Responsible Person.
