The role of Built Estate Manager will see you manage the reactive and programmed property maintenance and operate as the immediate escalation point for significant operational and delivery issues at the site level.
The role
As Built Estate Manager you will manage the service delivery of all reactive & programmed maintenance, and billable works in accordance with statutory legislation and mandatory requirements, complying with all health and safety and environmental standards and policies, and manage the team and supply chain performance to ensure that all reactive and planned maintenance key performance indicators (KPIs) are consistently achieved within your area of responsibility, ensure that all documentation relating to reactive and planned maintenance is distributed in a timely manner and recorded against the appropriate assets in the CAFM system.
You will also oversee the early warning notification and risk reduction meeting process, oversee and manage the statutory compliance state of sites, ensuring that any overdue statutory and mandatory tasks are adequately mitigated for risk and identify opportunities on establishments to support the company’s net zero carbon reduction targets and initiate billable works initiatives to achieve them.
In addition to this, you will ensure that all billable works delivered by site teams are delivered within agreed timelines and act as an On-Call Services Manager as required.
What you need to do the role
First and foremost, you will be an experienced Manager from within a planned and reactive maintenance environment and hold HNC, or equivalent level qualification, in a building/civil engineering or electrical/mechanical engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience.
You should also have developed IT skills and hold Emergency First Aid, Fire Safety and IOSH qualifications, as well as a full UK driving licence.
It is important that you have exceptional people management skills, with the ability to support and mentor team members and create a positive and collaborative working environment where you lead by example.
This role will require you to pass BPSS or SC Clearance.
