Role: Mobile Plumber
Location: East Midlands with some travel to Birmingham
Salary: Up to £37,000 + Van + call out fees (approx. £1200)
Hours: 08:00 – 17:00
 
Mainstay Recruitment are currently looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer with a Plumbing bias to join our growing client, covering sites across the East Midlands.
Our client are a business that offer continuous support and invests a huge amount in their staff and retention. The role itself comes with a vehicle, fuel card and all the tools required to complete the job.
 
Role:
 

• Covering both planned preventive maintenance and reactive maintenance
• You will perform mechanical maintenance across many aspects on site including boilers, taps, toilets, heating systems, plant rooms and dealing with legionella works
• Part of your role will involve assisting in project planning, estimation and stock control
• You will ensure that all work is compliant and in line with all health and safety regulations
• You will also ensure that you offer great customer service

 
Duties:
 

• It is ideal that the chosen candidate will hold the relevant qualifications within Mechanical engineering e.g. an NVQ level 3 in Plumbing or the equivalent experience
• Experience in a similar role performing maintenance across multiple sites
• Good written and verbal communication
• It is imperitive the applicant holds expoeriecne working within commerical plant rooms

• 1 in 6 call out, with £100 standby fee and 3 hours minimum paid if called out
• Plenty of overtime
• Fuel card with the van
