I started in marketing over 5 years ago, joining Mainstay at the beginning of 2022 as their Digital Marketing Manager and now as their Marketing Manager.
My job is to develop and execute our marketing strategy and evolve these plans as Mainstay grows into a bigger and better business. Ensuring what we put out to potential and current customers matches up with our core values and quality of service is a key part of my role, from creating
hard marketing materials to implementing an engaging social media strategy to supporting our sales teams in creating a smooth customer journey.
One of my favourite experiences in my role at Mainstay has been taking on the challenge of our company rebrand. I loved watching it gradually develop into something that truly embodies who we are as a company, but more importantly as a team.
Day-to-day I manage our social media platforms, creating engaging content and growing our channels aiming to increase brand awareness, generate leads and overall get the name Mainstay Recruitment at the forefront of the minds of potential candidates and clients.
Previous to working at Mainstay I worked in the charity sector, running youth projects in deprived areas. My passion for charity is still prominent which is why I decided to take on the additional role of Head of CSR at Mainstay. My biggest challenge has definitely been trying to get a team of 30+ people to agree on a fundraising event!
Outside of work, I try to travel as much as I can – I aim to visit at least one new country every year and love a long weekend away. However, most of my spare time is taken up by my 5 standard poodles who require A LOT of attention. I have been told I am a ‘crazy dog lady’ by many people, and to be honest I have to agree with them.
For me, working at Mainstay is set apart from other companies by the team spirit and lively atmosphere in and out of the office. If you’re ever looking for me on a Friday night, you can probably find me at the pub with the rest of my team!
