I have been a Recruitment Consultant within the Facilities Management sector since early 2022 and during this time I have developed great knowledge and experience.

I have recruited for a variety of roles from engineers to more senior appointments such as Head of Facilities, Contract Managers, Account Managers and Project Managers across multiple different sectors such as Service Providers, SME’s and within the Public Sector. I began my career at Mainstay as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant and picked up the industry quickly and was able to get promoted within the first 7 months. 

Throughout my working career I have worked within sectors where I have had to deal with the public and companies on a day-to-day basis. I began my career within the car industry as a Sales Consultant at the age of 21, in which I was able to develop skills such as listening, communication and rapport building which allowed me to achieve one of my biggest sales selling 4 Navara trucks to one individual at the same time. I have also worked as a police officer which taught me how to be authoritative yet empathetic in difficult situations and gave me great life experience at a relatively young age.

My roles within Sales and the Police Force have given me a good grounding and helped me with the necessity to change my approach to each individual situation. These roles have enhanced my skillset within recruitment as I am not only able to find candidates with the right skillset but also fit the ethos of each individual client.

I enjoy working within recruitment, and specifically the Facilities Management, sector as I get to speak to candidates with a variety of skillsets from Electrical Engineers to Directors, allowing me to use my adaptable personality to interact and build relationships. I enjoy recruitment as it allows me to build long lasting relationships with clients and allows me to help individuals find the right career. I don’t think I will ever forget my first placement and the thanks I got from the individual for helping them find their new role and career. 

From a young age I have loved traveling and gaining new experiences, from Skiing in Austria at the age of 13 to travelling across Italy and I have the aim of travelling across multiple countries across the world. I also have a great passion for sports, specifically football which I have played for a local team since the age of 4 – I support Aston Villa (the greatest team to win in Europe). Since working within the car industry as a salesman I have gained a great interest within cars, and this developed my love for the Formula 1 which I would love to go and watch live across the world. I enjoy having the odd 1 or 5 beers at the local pub, competing in 5 aside games with my colleagues and the charity events we do as a business.

Overall, my aim is to keep developing my skills within this sector, help candidates achieve their goals and build long lasting relationships with clients throughout my career.
