Having been with the company for 2 years, I have found my niche in this fast-paced, high-demand field, where building relationships with candidates and clients is my main skill set.
What I enjoy the most about my role is the dynamic and fast-paced nature of the logistics industry. It’s an industry that never sleeps, with constant demands for staff to ensure smooth operations and timely deliveries.
The sense of urgency and the adrenaline rush that comes with meeting the high demand of the industry is what drives me to excel in my role as a manager. I thrive in the fast-paced environment, utilising my experience and skills to identify the right candidates for the job and fulfil the needs of our clients efficiently.
My passion for the transport and logistics sector goes beyond just the fast-paced nature of the job. I am genuinely interested in the intricacies of the industry, from supply chain management to route optimization and everything in between. I find it fascinating to understand how this sector plays a crucial role in the movement of goods and services, contributing to and maintaining the global economy. This passion for the industry allows me to better connect with both candidates and clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
One of the key strengths that I bring to my role as a manager is my ability to build strong relationships. I understand that in the logistics industry, trust and reliability are paramount. Building relationships based on mutual respect, clear communication, and understanding of each party’s needs is crucial to ensure successful placements and long-term partnerships. I take pride in my ability to establish and maintain such relationships, and it has been a driving factor in my success as a divisional manager at Mainstay.
Outside of my professional life, I have a diverse range of interests. One of my passions is Formula 1 racing, and I closely follow the sport, staying up to date with the latest developments and races. I also enjoy football, both as a spectator and a player. Additionally, I have a love for singing and often indulge in karaoke to express my creativity and love for music.
