I lead the senior management team responsible for covering our Logistics, Distribution and Supply Chain and Production and Manufacturing divisions across our Walsall and Coventry offices.
These divisions account for around 60% of the business’ revenue and I have been at the forefront of this since the inception of Mainstay. I am passionate about recruitment and have dedicated my career to providing the best possible service to both my clients and candidates.
With 9 years of experience in the industry, I have honed my skills and expertise in helping match my clients with best possible candidates, and vice versa.
I am committed to delivering exceptional results and providing the highest level of service. Throughout my career, I have navigated some incredibly challenging times and I take pride in my ability to help my clients grow their businesses.
During the more recent years, I have transitioned into a managerial role helping with development of new and existing staff. It is vitally important that our people operate with the same levels of skill, integrity and knowledge that the management team possesses and so I have a hands on approach, particularly with new staff, to get them up to speed so we can continue to deliver the fantastic service to our clients that we always have.
I am a firm believer in all members off staff remembering what is involved when carrying the title of ‘Recruitment Consultant’. Having a consultative approach when working with clients to achieve their staffing goals will give you the best possible outcome. I have worked with a huge variety business in my career. I have consulted with all my clients on the best approach to recruitment strategies and took my time to understand their culture and values. Doing this has forged what is a very successful career in recruitment and has helped not only my personal reputation, but also build a really strong brand in Mainstay.
I believe in continuous learning and stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in recruitment. I am always seeking opportunities to expand my knowledge and skills to better serve my clients/customers.
Outside of work, I am a season ticket holder with Aston Villa and have a passion for anything with an engine which brings balance to my life and keep me inspired. I also regularly play football and over the last couple of years have become obsessed with golf – a great sport which can occasionally be more frustrating than enjoyable. I believe sport is a great way to switch off and really take your mind away from the stresses of work. Recruitment can be a very stressful industry to work in so I believe it is vital that people have something that can take their minds away from the workplace, in order to reset and recharge.
