Mainstay Recruitment is currently working with a well-established company who are looking to recruit an Asset Surveyor to effectively assess the physical state of various assets such as buildings infrastructure and equipment. You will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections, documenting conditions and analysing the data to produce reports of assets across a single contract.

Duties:

  • As the Asset Surveyor, you will perform onsite inspections across multiple electrical and mechanical assets across numerous sites nationwide.
  • Following the on-site inspections, you will document and record these detailed observations identifying any defects, damages, or areas that require maintenance or repair.
  • You will collect and analyse data to determine the overall health of mechanical and electrical assets.
  • As the Asset Surveyor, you will liaise with stakeholders, Engineers, Managers, and Project Managers to communicate findings and appropriate actions.
  • You will keep up to date with industry standards, regulations, and technological advancements.

Candidate:

  • Relevant qualifications within an engineering background e.g. NVQ in Electrical Installations.
  • Experience as an Asset Surveyor working for a service provider is an advantage.
  • Experience working within PFI contracts is an advantage.
  • Happy to cover national travel.
  • Experience and extensive knowledge of statutory by-laws and other legislative requirements.
