The role
Being part of the communications function will play a critical role during the mobilisation and life of the contract; supporting the development of the vision, culture and ways of working for the brand and ensuring that all future employees and customers are informed on key business strategies and initiatives.
This role will see you develop messaging and future communications channels for all supply chain engagement activities, and produce a regular drumbeat of communication to the customer community to provide updates on mobilisation progress/differences in service from 1 August 2024. You will need to build a comprehensive campaign plan and forward-looking calendar of activities to deliver engaging internal communications and collaborate directly with customer sites and content providers to ensure a local approach and relevance to all stakeholders.

You will need to create specific communications materials and campaigns and develop print and web-based materials to support strategic initiatives. You will also be expected to deliver a variety of events throughout the year, including company-wide all-hands meetings, supplier engagement events, awareness events and key launches, including mobilisation roadshows.
There will be frequent liaison with internal departments and the client to understand specific requirements, develop specific messages and to create a broad network of content owners, influencers and senior leaders across the business to support the delivery of the strategic internal communications plan. The engagement side of this role is very important so it is essential that you are able to travel across different sites at least 3 times a week.
In addition to this, you will be responsible for writing spotlight bulletins on Target Operating Models and culture and behaviours, working with Graphic Designers to develop posters, communications products and materials for our sites and pulling together induction packs for the client (including Service Level Agreements, Key Performance Indicators, etc), as well as developing a measurement framework for internal communications activities to evaluate the success and inform the future direction of campaigns and activities.
