We are currently looking for a Building Fabric Engineer to join our growing client covering sites across the East Midlands. If you are a Fabric Engineer and have experience in maintaining fabric works such as joinery, carpentry, plumbing, basic electrics, patch plastering, and painting and are looking for a company that will support your career and development then look no further.

The role

• Covering fabric maintenance tasks across commercial properties across Nottingham and Derby.
• Covering plumbing, carpentry, door fixing, tiling, painting, and maintenance.
• Pre-planned and reactive work.
• Assist in project planning, estimation, and stock control.
• Assist other trades such as electrical and mechanical departments.
• Ensure that all jobs are completed to a high standard within the given time frame.
• Responsible for ensuring health and safety when completing all jobs.

Candidate requirements

• Fabric qualifications such as carpentry, plumbing, and joinery are desirable.
• Previous experience within a similar environment is an advantage with an FM service provider background.
• Strong work ethic and desire to progress and build on existing experience.
• Must be able to work on their own to complete tasks.
• Excellent customer-facing skills.
• Good communication both verbal and written.
• Full UK driver’s license
