We are currently working with a well-established supportive company who are currently looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor. This role will involve the suitable candidate working alongside the health & safety team and operational team to ensure all service delivery across planned and reactive maintenance and projects are in line with health & safety policies and procedures.
Duties
- As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will support the Operational team with guidance and solutions to ensure all work activities with employees and contractors are completed in a safe manner.
- You will work alongside the Operational and Health & Safety teams to ensure all work completed across maintenance and projects are compliant with regulations
- As the Health & Safety Advisor, you will carry out accident investigations and ensure actions are put in place to ensure these incidents aren’t repeated.
- Within this role you will also carry out scheduled and unscheduled inspections of work activities across the estate, taking appropriate action where needed.
- You will travel to remote sites to complete accident investigations and incident reporting.
Candidate
- The relevant candidate will have relevant health and safety qualifications e.g. NEBOSH.
- NEBOSH Construction and P405 are highly desirable.
- Previous experience in safety advisory roles is essential.
