Mainstay are recruiting for PERMANENT HGV Class 2 drivers for our client based in Aldridge, West Midlands.
 
This HGV Class 2 Driver role involves deliveries of window and door products on a curtain-side vehicle. Shifts start between 05:30 and 06:30, and drivers will likely complete 48 hours of work per week. The number of drops vary depending on the location but usually no more than 8 per day. This is a highly desirable HGV Class 2 Driver role within a company with a great culture and support structure. The vehicles are new and well maintained. This HGV Class 2 Driver vacancy would suit somebody looking to settle into a permanent role in a well run company.

This is a PERMANENT HGV Class 2 Driver position.
 
Realistic Weekly Earnings:
£678.00 to £718.00 per week
(6% pay increase from February 2025)
 
Pay Rates:
Monday To Friday – £14.13 PAYE (£14.97 from February 2025)

Details:

• Class 2 delivery of window and door products
• Some handball involved
• Previous experience strapping loads is essential
• Number of deliveries vary depending on location of delivery, usually between 2-10 drops per day
• Start times between 05:30 and 06:30
• Monday to Friday
• Occasional pre planned nights out

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years HGV Class 2 Driver experience
• Maximum 6 endorsement points for minor offences
