Our client based in Saltley, Birmingham requires Category C (LGV Class 2) Drivers for immediate starts. Newly qualified drivers are welcome.

Role overview

• Full-time positions are available.
• Limited handball.
• Between 7 and 15 deliveries per shift, depending on route.
• All vehicles are modern and well-maintained.
• Comprehensive training and support from the transport department are available to assist with any queries or concerns.
• Excellent facilities and additional benefits are available with secure parking.

Pay rates in the initial 12-week period

• Monday-Friday: £14.00/hour, up to 8 hours per shift. £21.00/hour after 8 hours worked.
• Saturday: £21.00/hour, up to 8 hours per shift. Flat rate for all hours worked.
• Sunday and Bank Holidays: £28.00/hour, up to 8 hours per shift. Flat rate for all hours worked.

Pay rates after 12 weeks worked

• Potential annual earnings in excess of £47,000.
• Approximate average hourly pay rates are between £19-20.00/hour over a working weekly period.
  • Monday-Friday: £16.31/hour, up to 39 hours per shift. £24.47/hour after 39 hours worked.
  • Saturday: £24.47/hour (flat-rate)
  • Sunday: £32.62/hour (flat-rate)
  • Bank holidays: up to £48.93/hour.
• 45-minute paid breaks.

Shift patterns

• Each successful candidate will be placed on a shift rota which will consist of between 5 to 6 shifts per week within a 7 day, Monday to Sunday period (Saturday or Sunday work will potentially be included).
• Choice of start times from 21:00 to 00:30 (nights) or 12:00 to 15:30.
