Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Redditch and Leamington Spa
Salary: Approximately Earning £14.30 P/H. £13.00 P/H + £12.00 TAX FREE Meal Allowance Daily + Benefits 

Newly qualified drivers are needed/welcome to apply. Mainstay are currently recruiting for various HGV Class 2 drivers on an for an established contract in Redditch and Leamington Spa. The role involves delivery to residential addresses on a nationwide basis whilst working with an experienced Class C driver (meaning the workload is then shared). This is an excellent chance for newly qualified drivers to secure a temp to perm position and gain invaluable experience working with another Class C driver to forge a career within the transport and logistics industry. This opportunity will offer excellent training, job security and earning potential with a progressing company with well known and branded clients. Immediate start dates are available. 

Role Details:

• Delivery to residential addresses, as part of a 2-person driver team (not a drivers mate). This means the driving duties are shared. Which means plenty of Period Of Availability is accessible and that on the job training and advice is available. 
• Monday – Friday, with start times of between 05:00 and 07:00. Saturdays are available but not compulsory.
• Deliveries per day consists of between 4 and 10, depending on distance (local or nationwide).
• Ensuring all site/delivery safety rules are followed (as instructed via the induction).
• To comply with the customer service guidelines (again, training will be provided). 

Candidate Requirements:

• All applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, along with a CPC and Digicard
• There is no prior Class C driving experience required for this role.
• Candidates must be physically fit as you will be delivering stock by hand and assembling on site (training is provided).
• All drivers must have a professional and courteous manner, as they will be a representation of the company.
• You must be 21 of over and have no more than a maximum of 6 penalty points (for minor offences only). For insurance purposes only.

Salary/Benefits:

• £13.00 per hour + £12 per day TAX FREE meal allowance, which increases the hourly rate to approximately £14.30 per hour is more than realistic. OTE weekly earning is approximately £750.00 per week (before tax).
• 50 Guaranteed hours – Equates to almost a £37,000 salary (once permanent).
