We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Electrician to join a small team of three supporting critical operations at RAF Fairford.

You’ll carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), fixed wire testing, and compliance inspections in line with JSP375 standards, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. The role also includes minor installations and repairs across a range of domestic and commercial buildings, including offices, hangars, airfields, and accommodation.

This is a varied and hands-on role where no two days are the same — ideal for an electrician who takes pride in quality, safety, and teamwork.

What You’ll Need

  • City & Guilds Parts 1 & 2 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection & Testing)
  • Experience across commercial and domestic electrical work
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Eligibility for SC Clearance

What’s on Offer

  • Up to £42,000 depending on experience
  • 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday (8:00–16:30)
  • On-call rota (1 week in 3) – Paid £150 per week (potential for up to £2,500/yr additional pay)
