Job Title: Multi-skiled Maintenance Engineer
Location: Battersea
Salary: £36,000 – £40,000

Mainstay Recruitment are working with our client a large Facilities Management company to recruit an experienced Maintenance Engineer. This role involves planned and reactive maintenance of commercial plant including plumbing, HVAC systems and minor electrical works within an education setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting commercial plumbing, heating and electrical systems.
• Performing routine and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety compliance.
• Resolving technical issues with HVAC systems, boilers, pumps, and plumbing infrastructure.
• Working closely with facilities teams and contractors to implement repairs and upgrades.
• Conducting risk assessments and adhering to all safety and compliance standards.
• Keeping comprehensive records of maintenance tasks, including schedules and logs.

Qualifications and Experience

• Recognised M&E (commercial) qualification.
• Experience in building maintenance, especially in institutional settings like colleges or schools.
• Strong problem-solving ability and the capability to work independently.
• Excellent communication for effective collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
