We have an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of Billable Works projects at RAF Alconbury for our prestigious client. The role involves overseeing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver Billable Works projects from start to finish in line with client objectives and contractual requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all Government Regulatory and Statutory requirements, including Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
  • Provide leadership to Supply Chain teams and ensure qualified personnel are assigned to each project.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements to maintain high safety standards.
  • Collaborate with Defence Infrastructure Organisation representatives, Local Customer Service teams, and Site Managers to define scope, priorities, and delivery programmes.
  • Manage all project documentation and reporting through the Maximo system, including record uploads to SharePoint.
  • Support stakeholders in identifying effective solutions that meet operational needs and contribute to carbon reduction targets.
  • Resolve issues and complaints promptly, maintaining excellent customer satisfaction through proactive communication.
  • Manage budgets, costs, and stakeholder expectations to ensure value for money and sound financial control.
  • Identify and mitigate project and contract risks while maintaining agreed timescales and budgets.

Skills and Experience Required

  • Proven experience in project and team management, including achieving performance indicators and managing costs.
  • Strong background in planning, directing, and controlling project activities.
  • HNC or HND qualification in Building, Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Management-level qualification in Health, Safety, and Environmental practices (e.g., SMSTS).
  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, CAFM, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Associate Membership of a professional body such as APM, RICS, or MCIOB.
  • Accredited training in Asbestos and Legionella Responsible Person duties or Authorised Person Training.
  • Familiarity with CAFM systems and applications.
