Mainstay Recruitment has partnered with a prestigious transport business seeking to recruit a Transport Controller for its site located in Hams Hall.

There are three shift patterns on offer:
Days – 05:30-14:00, Monday-Friday
Afternoons – 13:30-22:00, Monday-Friday
Nights – 18:00-06:00, Monday-THURSDAY (12 hours, 4 days per week)

The role will involve managing a fleet of drivers, ensuring that all deliveries are completed in a timely manner. You will be required to provide both a proactive and reactive service to maintain the highest levels of customer service and operational efficiency.

The successful candidate will have previous experience working within a transport office, managing driver-related issues, and a good knowledge of drivers’ hours regulations and the Working Time Directive (WTD). Experience within automotive distribution would be advantageous.
