Role: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Redditch
Salary: £13 P/H + £12.00 TAX FREE Meal Allowance Daily + Benefits 

We are currently recruiting for multiple HGV Class 2 drivers for a new contract in Redditch. The role involves furniture delivery to residential addresses. This is a fantastic opportunity for newly qualified drivers to secure a temp to perm position, which offers fantastic training, job security and earning potential.

Role Details:

• Delivery of furniture to residential addresses, as part of a 2-person team
• Monday – Friday, with start times of between 05:00 and 07:00
• Typically, 12 hour shifts daily
• 4 – 10 deliveries per day, depending on distance
• Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
• Ensuring all site/delivery safety rules are followed rigorously
• Ensuring customer service is of an exceptional level, as you will be entering customers homes.

Candidate Requirements:

• All applicants must hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence, along with a CPC and Digicard
• There is no prior experience required for this role
• Candidates must be physically fit as you will be delivering stock by hand
• All drivers must have a professional manor, as they will be a representation of the client
• You must be 21 of over and have a maximum of 6 penalty points for minor offences

Salary/Benefits

• £13 per hour + £12 per day TAX FREE meal allowance
• 50 Guaranteed hours – Equates to almost a £37,000 salary (once permanent)
