Shift patterns: 7-7, 4on4off, days & nights
We are currently working with a leading service provider looking to recruit an Electrical Shift Lead to lead a team of Engineers across a single commercial site within London.
The role will entail delivering the highest customer service whilst performing planned and reactive M&E maintenance.
Role
- As an Electrical Shift Lead, you will be responsible for driving the engineering team on-site to deliver high-quality service when maintaining M&E equipment across a commercial site.
- You will also be responsible for performing planned and reactive maintenance across M&E equipment such as generators, emergency lights, AHU, fire alarm testing, FCU, and boilers.
- As the Shift Lead, you will act as the HV authorised person.
- You will work closely with the client and Technical Manager to discuss the work completed on-site.
- You will issue work permits and manage 3rd party contractors on-site.
- You will supervise and manage effective shift handovers.
- This role will also involve specialist service provider worksheets being completed and the quality of work being inspected and signed off.
- You will supervise the plant areas, workshops, and stores on site ensuring plant status, plant isolations and ongoing works are delivered to the highest standard.
Candidate
- You will hold relevant qualifications in electrical, mechanical or building qualifications.
- You must hold relevant qualifications in wiring regulations e.g. 18th edition.
- Experience in managing BMS systems.
- Previous experience in being an LV/HV authorised person.
