Our client based in Enfield requires Category C (LGV Class 2) drivers for immediate starts for temporary to permanent roles.

Various benefits including 45-minute breaks paid (following a 12-week qualifying period) and a 50% discount card that can be used at all stores. Qualify for annual company profit share every April (when a full-time employee).

Duties consist of up to 8 deliveries per shift, on average 4-5. The option to work for premium weekend rates (see below) is also available upon request. Deliveries will vary within an 80-mile radius of Enfield. The deliveries can be to Central London or as far as Cambridge. All vehicles are modern and well-maintained. Extensive training by the driver trainer is compulsory and support from the transport department is available when required. Drivers with a minimum of 3 months experience are preferred but not essential. Safe and secure parking is available onsite along with excellent facilities.

Pay rates in the initial 12-week period

• Mon to Fri, £15.00/hour PAYE, up to 8 hours per shift. £20.35/hour PAYE after 8 hours worked.
• Saturday, £19.67/hour PAYE, up to 8 hours per shift. Flat rate for all hours worked.
• Sunday and Bank Holidays, £22.11/hour PAYE, up to 8 hours per shift. Flat rate all hours worked. 
• Weekly pay can potentially exceed £900.00.

Pay rates and benefits following 12-week/pay parity

• Mon to Sat, £16.31/hour PAYE, up to 39 hours per shift. £24.47/hour PAYE after 39 hours worked.
• Sunday £32.62/hour PAYE, up to 8 hours per shift. Flat rate for all hours worked.
• Bank holidays up to £48.93/hour PAYE.
• 45-minute breaks are paid for.
• 50% discount card at all stores nationwide
• Potential annual company profit share when full-time.
• Weekly pay can potentially exceed £1000.00.

Shift pattern

• Each successful candidate will be placed on a shift rota which will consist of 5 shifts per week within 7 days, Monday to Sunday period (Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday at premium rates).
• Days/afternoon, start time window is between 11:00 and 15:30.
• On nights, the start time window is between 21:00 and 01:00.
• Most shifts last between 8 and 10 hours.
