We are currently recruiting for a dedicated M&E Engineer with AP experience to join our prestigious client’s team, working across multiple MoD sites in the North West. If you’re passionate about safety, compliance, and making a tangible impact, this is the role for you.

Job Description

As an M&E Engineer, you’ll play a key role in the successful delivery of our contractual obligations, ensuring full compliance with MoD standards (JSP375). Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing detailed risk assessments and method statements.
  • Assessing and supporting the competence of Skilled Persons.
  • Providing expert technical advice to site teams and stakeholders.
  • Supporting MoD carbon reduction initiatives through technical solutions.
  • Supervising and mentoring staff to uphold high safety and quality standards.
  • Liaising with senior management and external partners to ensure project success.
  • Playing a pivotal role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of all estate operations.

Requirements

For this role you will need to have the below experience and qualifications:

  • A recognised qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • AP tickets in either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Solid experience with Safe Systems of Work and JSP375 compliance.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and solve complex problems.
  • Confidence working independently across multiple sites.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Flexibility to join an on-call rota when required.
