Are you an experienced Scoping Project Manager with a background in Construction? Do you thrive on delivering high-quality projects, on time and within budget? If so, we want to hear from you!
We’re currently seeking Scoping Project Managers to join our client’s team, overseeing the full lifecycle of Billable Works – from concept and design, through to pricing, delivery and final handover. You’ll play a key role in managing multiple construction projects and ensuring they meet operational, financial, and regulatory requirements.
Your role
As a Scoping Project Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage end-to-end project delivery across a range of construction activities, including refits, refurbishments, new builds, demolitions, and day-to- day maintenance.
- Work closely with key stakeholders, including local DIO representatives, site managers, and customer service teams, to agree scope, priorities, and delivery schedules.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and government/statutory standards.
- Review risk assessments and method statements for adequacy.
- Manage project documentation via systems such as SharePoint and Maximo.
- Maintain tight control over budgets, timelines and risks, always aiming for value for money and strong customer satisfaction.
- Support sustainability goals, particularly in alignment with the MoD’s carbon reduction targets.
- Assist in resolving complaints and issues effectively and professionally.
What you’ll need
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry.
- A qualification at HNC/HND level (or equivalent experience) in Building, Civil Engineering, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication abilities and stakeholder management experience.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Ability to obtain SC Clearance (Security Check level).
