Reporting to the Technical Compliance Lead, this role will see you manage the asset management function within the CAFM system (Maximo) and manage a small team to make necessary amendments to asset data within Maximo, including:
- Adding new level 4 assets.
- Link maintainable assets to correct SFG20 schedules.
- Setting up the CAFM with the correct next-due dates.
- Updating Project Managers with the latest version of SFG20 schedules and liaising with the commercial team to identify any cost implications.
- Focal point for level 2 contract changes.
- Ensure asset change requests from operational teams are actioned in a timely manner.
The role will require you to work with Operational Teams, Suppliers, and Clients to support compliance, reduce risk and effect change leading to continual improvement, support Operational Teams with the handover of new buildings, and ensure all asset data is captured and set up within the CAFM.
Other responsibilities the Technical Asset Compliance Manager will undertake include:
- Adding value and advising on cost-effective solutions to technical issues in support of compliance.
- Life cycle and assets.
- Identifying trends through knowledge capture of audit activities and CAFM systems to identify risks and enable priorities to be established to rectify.
- Investigate and advise on any potential cost and performance efficiencies.
- Identify necessary changes in processes affecting compliance and efficient working practices and audit certificate management within the CAFM to ensure compliance/processes are being implemented.
This role will be based out of their Liverpool offices, however, you will be required at times to conduct site visits to verify works carried out anywhere in Central England, so the ability to travel will be essential when required.
What the Technical Asset Compliance Manager needs…
- A HNC/HND/Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Detailed knowledge of legal and compliance regulations relating to Facilities Management and asset management.
- Good working knowledge of CAFM systems.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical assets and the application of SFG20 schedules.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision.
- High level of attention to detail.
