Working hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30

We are currently recruiting for a Compliance Auditor for our client in Salisbury. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive auditing support to the Compliance Manager and supporting the site to remain compliant in line with the audit schedule. This role will see you conduct onsite audits and recommending risk mitigation to department managers. You will be ensuring that processes and procedures are followed and compliant with company policies.

Role responsibilities 

  • Perform risk assessments on key business activities in stores and warehouses, guiding audit focus with standardised checklists.
  • Complete assurance audits in line with contract requirements.
  • Drive standards and performance of the contract.
  • Investigate breaches of procedures, report to Compliance Manager and provide support for necessary actions.
  • Be involved with internal, audit stocktaking procedures & coordinate with external auditor when required.
  • Stay updated on new systems, procedure changes and company issues.
  • Prepare and perform internal quality audits (to include firm-wide compliance reviews) in line with the risk audit schedule.
  • Formulation and maintenance of the annual audit schedule.
  • Support the Head of Operational Support in the preparation of the annual risk audit schedule.

Candidate requirements

  • Auditing qualification is preferred, however working towards a qualification will be considered.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office functions.
  • Previous experience in auditing/compliance based roles.
