Hours of work: Sunday-Thursday, 22:00-06:00 (nights)

We are currently seeking an experienced General Operative on behalf of our long-standing West Bromwich-based client.

General Operative duties

• Operate material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts.
• Offload, identify and safely store raw material in coil and flat sheet form.
• Take responsibility for the inspection of goods for quality and quantity.
• Enter traceability data into manual and/or electronic records.
• Ensure good levels of 5S are maintained in the area.
• Be involved in continuous improvement processes 7 driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• All offloading of raw materials achieved in a timely manner.
• Zero defective raw materials accepted into the premises.
