We are currently working with a national FM service provider recruiting for a Legionella Engineer. Our client has huge contracts across the UK and is looking for dynamic candidates to work across 2 sites around the Suffolk area.

Your responsibilities will involve:

  • Ensure all H&S documentation (RAMS) are present prior to engaging the task.
  • Review and contribute to risk assessments and method statements to ensure they are to an acceptable standard and always ensure compliance.
  • Record all tasks against the appropriate assets via the PDA and ensure all documentation relating to maintenance and response works is completed, recorded and distributed in a timely manner.
  • Mentor apprentices as and when required.
  • Liaise with the end user and members of the supply chain when required.
  • Reporting to the Technical Services Manager, you will work as part of the on-site engineering team and daily tasks will be allocated via tablet device and/or paper-based task instruction, ensuring all relevant records and documentation are completed comprehensively.
  • Undertake planned preventative maintenance works at RAF Lakenheath and the surrounding area.
  • Work from drawings and specifications with minimal supervision. You will make decisions on the most appropriate repair solution, always ensuring that compliance activity and minor works are completed.
  • Provide exceptional service to our high-profile clients and go the extra mile to deliver to the highest quality standard in all building areas, notifying management of any defects on equipment or systems.

Candidate

  • You will need to have previous experience in mechanical plumbing you and already hold a recognised Legionella qualification or training.
  • You will be able to write clearly and have a keen eye for detail within record keeping to ensure we maintain our high standards.
  • This role will require you to travel to remote sites and drive a company van therefore it is essential that you hold a clean and valid UK driving licence.
  • It is desirable that you have experience of operating within the same industry environment and have familiarity with geography and establishments within the area.
  • You must be able to pass SC clearance to be considered
